Vandalism inside Prof Amar's room decried

Imphal, April 09 2012: The faculty members of Economics Department, Manipur University has strongly condemned the act of vandalism carried out inside the office room of Prof Amar Yumnam by some miscreants on April 5 .

According to a statement issued by Head of the Department Prof E Binoykumar Singh, an emergency meeting of the faculty members was held at the department on April 7 and took serious note over the incident.

The meeting decried such act of vandalism and appealed to all concerned to help in maintaining a conducive academic atmosphere in the University.
