Imphal, October 07 2024: In connection with the 67th birth anniversary celebration of Irengbam Chaoren, the Irengbam Chaoren Memorial Trust will be organising a State Level Essay Writing Competition for students on October 20, 2024 at Ratankumar Memorial English School and Pitambara English School in Kwakeithel.

According to a release issued by Irengbam Chaoren Memorial Trust, the Essay Writing Competition will be held on the topic, "Responsibility of the Indigenous Peoples to Preserve the Integrity of Manipur" .

Students wilt have the option to write their essays in either English or Meetei Mayek/ Bengali Script.

The competition will be conducted in two categories-A for Class VIII to X and B for Class XI upto University level.

Forms for the competition will be available at All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO) office in Kwakeithel Akham Leikai and Manipur Students' Federation (MSF) office in Kwakeithel Thounaojam Leikai.
