KSO, Phailengmol condemns

The Kuki Students' Organization (KSO), Phailengmol Island Block strongly condemned the reported arrest of Lunkam Haokip s/o Nehkholam Haokip of Monglham village by a combine forces of Assam Rifles and Imphal East police on September 5 in connection with the killing of K Hengjang village chief and his nephew and clarified that the Lunkam Haokip is an innocent civilian and not a cadre of KNF-N, said Gen Secy KSO, Phailengmol Island Block in a statement.
It said that recently one daughter of Lunkam Haokip expired on August 31 and he was in a solemn state when the security force apprehended on false charge accusing him to be a cadre of KNF-N which is quite an unfortunate incident and shame for the Govt and the public.
Clarifying that Lunkam Haokip does not have any ties and connection with any armed militant group or revolutionary organization and never ever involved in any unlawful acts, the student body urged the authority concerned to withdraw their false accusation and released him unconditionally.
