Imphal, February 06 2018: Women vendors of New Market (Imoinu Keithel) shed number 13, have warned against any attempt to increase the number of vendors in the shed from the initial number.

Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club today, one of the women vendors, Ningombam Mema said that the original vendors of Imoinu Keithel's shed number 13 will not accept the alleged attempt by the three secretaries of Mayanglang vendors, namely Sanatombi, Bilashini and Ibeyaima, to add three more vendors.

She further claimed that the said individuals (vendors) are not IMC card holders, and added that the women vendors will cease all business in the market if the new vendors are forcefully added.

She also appealed to MAHUD Minister as well as the authorities concerned to look into the matter at the earliest.
