Imphal, May 04 2020: Water Resources Minister Letpao Haokip today inspected Loktak Lift Irrigation (LLI) at Bishnupur.

Accompanied by engineers of the WR department, the Minister and his team visited the Pump House no 1 and 2 of the LLI at Ningthoukhong and Tera Urak respectively.

After the inspection visit, a meeting was also held with experts concerned to discuss various infrastructural shortages faced currently at the project.

After listening to the complaints, Letpao assured that the faulty pumps and a transformer will be replaced immediately under the ERM project.
