Ibobi takes stock of renovation work of Hotel Imphal

Imphal, November 02 2013 :
Chief Minister O.Ibobi Singh visited Hotel Imphal near North AOC this afternoon to take stock of the ongoing renovation works in connection with the upcoming Sangai Festival.
During the inspection the Chief Minister advised the concerned Chief Engineers to make necessary arrangements for ensuring adequate supply of water and power to the hotel and also to speed up the renovation works.
Talking to media persons on the sidelines of the inspection visit, Ibobi said that in view of the Sangai Festival, 2013, the government had entrusted the work for renovation of Hotel Imphal to the Classic Hotel Management temporarily.

Later on open tendering would be done for conversion of Hotel Imphal into a public private partnership model.
