Imphal, April 30 2020: Lifting of PDS rice for the month of April, 2020 under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) and Open Market Sale Scheme (OMSS) is almost completed and distribution is underway in the different Assembly Constituencies of the State.

Today, a total quantity of 330 quintals of rice under OMSS was sold in Thoubal district.

280 quintals was sold to the beneficiaries of Wangkhem AC while, 50 quintals was sold to beneficiaries of Khangabok AC .

88 quintals of rice under OMSS was also sold in Imphal West district today covering 298 households of the district.

With the lifting of 760.30 quintals of rice under OMSS for Churachandpur AC today, lifting of PMGKAY and OMSS rice was completed for the district.
