Hill Tribal Council appeals

The Hill Tribal Council, Moreh has appealed to the public to strictly adhere to the guidelines issued by the Government to prevent the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
In a release, HTC informed that following a sharp spike of COVID-19 positive cases from neighbouring Tamu area of Myanmar, the Deputy Commissioner Tengnoupal has issued an order sealing the Indo-Myanmar border with immediate effect from February 1, 2022 in order to prevent further infection in Moreh.
HTC also appealed to the people of Moreh and visitors to wear face masks at market places, mass gatherings or social events.
The council also advised the parents to give proper guidance to their children and people suffering from cold, flu, throat pain and fever to inhale steam at least twice a day.
HTC further urged all to follow the guidelines until further notice is served by the Government.
