KSO Tengnoupal Block seeks Govt's intervention for district development

Tengnoupal, January 30 2018:
Kuki Students' Organisation (KSO) Tengnoupal Block president, H Daniel Mate has called upon the State Government to intervene and bring development in one of the newly created district of the State, Tengnoupal, and to transform Tamenglong District Headquarters into a real District Headquarters.
Speaking at a press meet held at the KSO Tengnoupal Block office, Daniel urged the Government to include a bugdet for development of Tengnoupal in the 2018-2019 Budget session.
He further urged the authorities concerned to improve several Government infrastructures and offices in the district, inlcuding DC & SP, district hospital, District Session Court, Chief Medical Office, District Supply Officer, ZEO, PHED, etc.
The Tengnoupal-Sangsak road has remained in a dilapidated condition for almost 20 years now, he asserted and urged the Governent to take immediate step to repair the said road before the monsoon season as the heavy rainfall will make the road impassable.
The president also urged the Government to announce Tengnoupal District Headquarters and its surrounding areas, as Tourists destination and to create Aimol/Molnoi and Sita Sub Deputy Circle.
The assurance given by RD&PR Minister to bifurcate DRDA and other departments from Chandel district should be transformed into action, he added while urging the authority concerned to distribute uniforms and text books for students of Governmnet schools before the start of school session.
In connection with the announcement of ambulace at 10 districts, the president questioned as to why Tengnoupal was sidelined from receiving an ambulance and urged the Government to provide an ambulance for the district as well.
