More condole Ulel's demise

Imphal, October 29 2016: Many continue to condole the demise of renowned writer and lyricist Kuraijam Ulel Meitei who passed away some days back.

In a statement Sahitya Thoupang Lup, Sagolband Lukram Leirak, Mayaikoibi Maning Thiyam deeply condoled the sudden demise of Ulel and informed that the members of the organisation observed a two minute silence for the departed soul during a condolence meeting held at Imphal.

Writers Club Manipur, Nambol in a release condoled the demise of Ulel and prayed for the peaceful rest of the departed soul in heaven.

The club informed that Ulel was a founding member of Seireng Semgat Lup (SEIPAL) and a receipient of Thiyam Krishnachandra Radheshakhi Award in 2005 .

Loktak Khorjei Lup, Thanga Tongbram Leikai, Bishnupur, Yairipok Thambalnu Shahitya Marup Cum Library, Yairipok Bazar and Writers' Forum, Imphal also mourned the demise of the writer cum lyricist.
