He said the committee will start taking own course of action if the authorities and the State Government fail to take up appropriate steps to ensure regular attendance at the earliest.
The Government should be held responsible for any untoward incidents thereafter, Joychandra further warned.

Out of the 23 ministerial staff of the ADC, only 8 including the Additional CEO, some staff of Veterinary and Account Section were found present.
When inquired about any order or information issued by the CEO after October 26 last asking them to attend their office regularly, one of the staff of the District Council said that they have not received any such order from the CEO so far.
The committee members also visited the offices of Mini Secretariat located at the Deputy Commission Office Complex including Zonal Education Office, District Social Welfare Office, District Supply Office, NERCOMP, District Statistical Office, District Fishery Office etc.
It may be mentioned that the committee, on their second inspection, was assured by the Deputy Commissioner Chandel that befitting actions will be initiated against the erring staff after consulting higher authorities.
Meanwhile, Chandel Naga People's Organisation (CNPO) also organised a joint meeting with the District Level Officers to address the issue at Mini-Indoor Stadium on Monday last.
