Dimapur, March 29 2012:
There had been blow-hot and blow-cold relationship between the NSCN-IM and the security forces in the recent time.
But as it went by, the angers of the Naga militant outfit has come out to the open.
The latest incident that had prompted the NSCN-IM to spew out anger against the security forces was the March 27 raid in the house of NSCN-IM official near Hebron camp, off Dimapur.
According to the NSCN-IM, the Assam Rifles raided the house of its 'deputy kilonser' (junior minister) to deliberately damage the name of the Naga outfit in ceasefire with the government of India.
The NSCN-IM alleged that the 29 Assam Rifles targeted one 'deputy kilonser' David Mero's house at Bade village that is located on the road to Hebron camp.
"This happened when Mero was attending the Tatar Hoho Budget (NSCN-IM's Parliament) session on March 27 .
They came in one Maruti gypsy and one mini truck. They came rushing inside the compound shouting 'paglo paglo' and ransacked everything their hands could touch in the house.
They tried to open one almirah but gave up as the key was with the owner.
One pistol and uniforms of his security guards were taken away.
Three Naga Army personnel who were on ROP duty were arrested and handed over to Diphupar police station," alleged the NSCN-IM.
A forth-night ago, NSCN-IM senior functionary Rev Puni's house was raided by the security forces and arrested the house owners along with some cadres.
It is also worth noting that on January 14, Thuingaleng Muivah and Isak Chisi Swu were on their way to Zunheboto from their camp Hebron in the large entourage consisting of about 70 vehicles but were stopped by the waiting Assam Rifles at Bade village led by an Assam Rifles brigadier at around 9:30 am.
Bade village is located at about 20 kilometres from NSCN-IM's Hebron camp.
The Assam Rifles had asked Muivah and Swu not to go ahead with their visit to Zunheboto without obtaining a permission from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
At around 3 pm the Ministry of Home Affairs had reportedly allowed Muivah and Isak Swu to visit Zunheboto but with certain conditions.
