Docu-film released

Imphal, January 29 2013: Manipuri Documentary Film entitled "Ngasidamak Khangli Achumba Waa" was released on 28 January, 2013 at 5 p.m.at Dave Literature Center, D M College campus in a simple function attended by the Hon'ble Parliamentary Secretary MOBC & SCs and Science & Technology, Manipur Md Amin Shah as Chief Guest, Advocate Md Abdul Quayum as the Guest of Honour and IRDC Director Mufti Salatur Rahman as the President.

The 20 minutes Film based on Harun Yahya's Miracles of the Qur'an was produced by Islamic Research and Dawah Centre Babupara, Imphal under the direction of Sirajuddin Shaikh and transcription and narration by the Associate Professor of D M College of Science, Dr Md Raheijuddin Sheikh.

The film highlights the compatibility of the Holy Qur'an with the modern inventions of Science and Technology.

The DVD copies of the Film were presented as token of love to some of the non-Muslim guests who were present in the Screening of the Film.

The Screening was followed by a brief discussion session in which many scholars expressed the need of such a film for the youngsters which contains the message that Science and Religion must go together in the path of progress.

The vacuum in the society which is left by the lack of moral component in the youths due to the fast growing scientific discoveries must be filled in by producing such a film which contains both moral and scientific values.
