AR inaugurates water storage tank

Imphal, December 28 2024: Assam Rifles inaugurated a 50 KL capacity water storage tank in Zikpi Tampak village, Churachandpur District.

According to a release issued by IGAR (South), the infrastructure initiative, part of Operation Sadbhavana, addresses the critical issue of water scarcity and ensures access to clean water for the local population.

The ceremony was attended by Assam Rifles personnel, the Village Chief, and approximately 82 villagers.

The Village Chief expressed gratitude, noting the project's significance in meeting local needs and strengthening community ties.

Operation Sadbhavana continues to drive positive change across the Northeast, promoting peace, development, and prosperity.

Assam Rifles remains committed to its mission of being the "Sentinels of the Northeast," dedicated to ensuring peace and development in the region, said the IGAR (South) .
