3rd edition of Anal customary law book released

The 3rd edition of 'Anal No Pumlo Tallo' (Anal Customary Law Book) was released during 'Huwnthuwna Ki Alum' (book releasing function) at Rungchang village in Chakpikarong today.
Organised by Anal No Pumlo Tallo Lusuh, (Committee on Anal Customary Law) and hosted by Anal Naga Chiefs' Association, Chakpikarong Sub- division, the function was attended by MLA of 41- Chandel AC St Nunghlung Victor as Chief Guest, President of Anal Naga Tangpi (ANTA) Wng Victor Kohring as functional President and Finance Secretary of Manipur Baptist Convention Rev Sr Onesima Anal as Administrator.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA St Nunghlung Victor stated that all villages should practice the customs contained in the book rather than keeping the customary book without reading it.
He suggested that all village Chiefs should memorized the laws and a written examination on the customary laws should be made compulsory before appointment of any village Chief.
The MLA observed that ANTA should take up necessary measures in this regard and assured help and support towards materializing the proposal.
The MLA also honoured the Chief of Rungchang village and cultural dance troupe of Yangkelching Khutha along with extending financial aids.
In his Presidential address, Wng Victor Kohring observed that that people of Anal tribe are endowed with beautiful and unique custom and urged them to have the 'dignity of labour', be faithful, hopeful and loving.
As the administrator of the function, Rev Sr.
Onesima Anal dedicated the book to the public.
President of Anallon Chiefs' Association BD Thumdang, President of Anal Customary Law RD Thungkhel Anal and Principal of United College BD Thumdal were also among those who spoke on the occasion.
While proposing vote of thanks, President of the host Chiefs' Association RD Tumdang Anal thanked all the dignitaries, guests and invitees.
He also specially thanked Maj Sunil Dahiya of 32 AR Salluk for providing water and Kanats for the function.
The function was attended by several chiefs of the villages, Pastors, Social workers, leaders of various organization.
