Imphal, November 27 2011:
Expressing serious concerns on the nature of the public leaders, the proscribed UG group in a press statement said that it is the right time for the people to teach the right lesson to those public leaders who are trying to keep the people and the society in the darkness under the supervision of the India government.
RPF stated that the present government and many public leaders are still sitting like a silent spectator without the power to raise their voices against the Centre even when the India government and the NSCN-IM are so close to breaking up the territorial integrity of the Manpur, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
In such situation, the puppet government is mimicking the voice of the India government which wants to suppress the people of the state and has been inviting the revolutionaries to refrain from their revolutionary activities, it added.
Questioning the real meaning of mainstream, the statement further stated that living like a dependent person under the colonial rule of India government could not be termed as the mainstream.
Reminding of the rich history of Manipur which is more than 5000 year old and its socio-economic status, the statement urged the public leaders who have denied the true mainstream to return to the mainstream and strive for a better and independent Manipur.
