UNLF behind Keishampat blast

Imphal, November 26 2013: The proscribed United National Liberation Front (UNLF) has claimed that the IED blast at Keishampat on November 25 in which one security personnel identified as Rajiv Sharma of 40 Assam Rifles posted at Singjamei Chinga Post got killed was carried out by a small demolition squad of the Urban Guerrilla Warfare Team of UNLF-MPA.

According to a statement issued by M Sak Hen, publicity officer of the proscribed outfit, the IED attack was part of its ongoing revolutionary movement against the colonial rule, atrocities and cold-blooded murder of innocent civilians carried out by Indian security forces in the State.

The outfit also appealed to the general public to stay aloof from security forces as such attacks may trigger anytime and anywhere.
