Free heart and echo screening camp held

Tpl, October 26 2019: A one day free heart and echo screening camp was organised by Manipur Heart Foundation (MHF) in association with SKY Hospital & Research Centre Pvt Ltd and Moreh District Hospital at Moreh District Hospital today.

Free Heart OPD, Free Echocardiography, Free ECG and Free Diabetes Detection tests were provided.

A total number of 61 patients including children below 18 years of age were given free heart OPD, free echo to 12 patients, free ECG to 26 patients and free Diabetes detection tests to 8 patients.

2 children below 18 yrs of age were detected with CHD (Congenital Heart Disease) and another 4 adults were found to have abnormal echo study findings for which further assessment at SKY hospital was advised for free.

Dr L Shyamkishore, president, Manipur Heart Foundation asserted that the foundation would continue to provide such camps at different places of the State and appealed to all the people to take the opportunity of such free services at their door steps.
