Imphal, August 25 2024: Assistant Headmasters' Association, Manipur has expressed strong reservations against the omission of promotion posts of Assistant Headmaster & Headmaster of Junior High Schools and High Schools in the Rectification Order of Revision of Pay (ROP) 2022 issued by the Pay Implementation Cell (PIC), Finance Department.

In a release, Assistant Headmasters' Association, Manipur said that although a number of projects/policies have been initiated for the development of education in the State, the Government has ignored the administrators namely Assistant Headmaster & Headmaster of Government Schools.

The association also lamented that despite repeated appeals to the Chief Secretary, Education Minister, Chief Minister and authorities concerned, the association has not received any positive response till date.

"Thus, senior teachers of Junior High Schools and High Schools will be seeking legal help as the Government has failed to take up any concrete action", it added.
