L Dikho donates testing kits for Senapati district

Apart from donating the TrueNat machine to the people of Senapati district, PHED Minister L Dikho continues to donate testing kits for the welfare of the people during this pandemic.
The consignment was reportedly initiated by the Indian Red Cross Society, Senapati Branch which was brought from Imphal and handed over to doctors in-charge of the district in the presence of CMO.
Testing kits comprising of 500 numbers of cartridges and 1,000 numbers of swap sticks worth about 10 lakhs rupees were brought and handed over to the medical doctors.
Dr Muanching, in-charge of the district TrueNat machine while expressing gratitude to the concerned Minister, said that about 290 samples were tested so far with 4 positive results and 3 had reportedly recovered from the disease.
The doctor concerned stated that as per SOP laid down by the State Health Department, co-morbid influenza like illness and severe acute respiratory infection, the frontline workers including police personnel and volunteers, pregnant mothers, returnees at different IQCs etc were tested freely while about 40 willing individuals, on suspicions, were tested on payment till filing of this report and the collected amount are usually deposited to State health accounts.
