CM to inaugurate Keirao Covid hospital today

Imphal, May 25 2021: As a part of government's effort to combat the infectious Covid-19 pandemic and curb the spread of the virus in the state, chief minister N Biren will inaugurate an integrated Ayush hospital at Keirao which will start functioning as 200-bedded dedicated Covid Care Centre from Wednesday.

The inauguration function which will be organised jointly by Directorate of Ayush and State Ayush Society, Manipur will be attended by chief minister N Biren, State Planning Board deputy chairman and Keirao MLA L Rameshwar Meetei and advisor to CM (Health) Dr Sapam Ranjan as presidium members.

Ahead of the inauguration of the hospital, Keirao AC MLA L Rameshwar on Tuesday morning inspected the site and the black topping of the road leading to the hospital.

The Ayush hospital, which will be inaugurated, will function as Covid Care Centre and all the beds in the hospital will be oxygen supported ones.

Appreciating the efforts of the chief minister, MLA Rameshwar on his Facebook page lauded the chief minister.
