Myanmar tour operators arrive

Imphal, November 21 2015 : A chartered flight of the Golden Myanmar brought tour operators from the neighbouring country to Imphal today.

The chartered flight from Mandalay landed at the Imphal International Airport at around 11 am and it brought 15 tour operators, one French national, one journalist and the CEO of the Golden Myanmar.

On its way back, the aircraft took 34 passengers including one IAS officer from Imphal to Mandalay.

Golden Myanmar would operate another chartered flight to and from Imphal and Mandalay on November 24 in connection with the Sangai Festival which began today.

Even as a team of media persons submitted their names and other details to the airport authority through DIPR for covering the landing of the Golden Myanmar flight, the media persons were issued passes several minutes after the flight had landed.
