Imphal, August 21 2020: The Joint Action Committee (JAC) formed in connection with the death of Laishram Angamba of Ningthoukhong today staged a protest demonstration demanding arrest of the culprit(s) .

The JAC in a release said they will continue to stage various forms of protest demonstrations until the culprit(s) is arrested.

It may be mentioned here that Laishram Angamba Singh (22) son of L Biren Singh of Ningthoukhong Ward Number 14 was found dead on August 15 at Thambal Houbi Uku Makhong, Ningthoukhong Awang Ward Number 1 .

The JAC had also submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister demanding arrest of culprit(s) within 5 days (by August 20) .
