Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), Manipur State held its 4th Conference today at GM Hall.
The inaugural session of the conference was graced by Th Radheshyam Singh, Minister, Labour & Employment Minister, Binodini, president, BMS, Manipur State, B Surendran, organizing secretary, BMS, New Delhi, Sunil Kirwai, organizing secretary, BMS, North East, Anjali Patel, general secretary, Akhil Bharatiya Anganwadi Karmachary Mahasangh, New Delhi and N Tomba Singh, national executive member, BMS, New Delhi as the chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.
Speaking at the function, Radeshyam observed that labourers are the important constituent members of the society as many important things and infrastructures, including essential commodities, such as clothes and schools are made by them.
He assured that the matter of low .wages of the labourers will be conveyed to the Chief Minister.
Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of serving the last man in the queue, many schemes for poor and needy people have been taken up in the State, he added.
