Prices of essential commodities revised

Prices of essential commodities in Manipur have been revised during a meeting of the Price Monitoring Committee of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution today.
According to the revised rate, one quintal of Potatoes, which used to cost Rs 1900, would cost now Rs 1800, at the rate of Rs 18 per kg.
One quintal of Onion would cost now Rs 2,800, at the rate of Rs 28 per kg.
Earlier, one quintal of Onion used to cost Rs 3000.One quintal of Mattar, which used to cost Rs 3,700, would cost now Rs 3600 at the rate of Rs 36 per kg while there is no change in the price of Matar Dal (Kantak).
The cost of one quintal of Mattar Dal (Kantak) remains at Rs 3900, at the rate of Rs 39 per kg.
The price of one quintal of Masur Dal has been revised at Rs 5,100, at the rate of Rs 51 per kg.
The price before the revision was Rs 5200.The cost of Arhar Dal has been revised at Rs 6,000 per quintal, at the rate of Rs 60 per kg from the earlier rate of Rs 5800 per quintal.
The cost of Sugar has been revised at Rs 3300 per quintal, at the rate of Rs 33 per kg from the earlier rate of Rs 2500 per quintal.
The cost of Chana remains at Rs 5,500, at the rate of Rs 55 per kg.
The cost of one quintal of Moong Dal also remains same at Rs 8,500 per quintal, at the rate of Rs 85 per kg even after the revision.
The cost of Badam has been revised from Rs 9500 to Rs 9000 per quintal, at the rate of Rs 90 per kg.
There is no change in the price of Sagol Hawai and the cost remains at Rs 6,500 per quintal, at the rate of Rs 65 per kg, even after price revision.
The cost of Besol has been revised from Rs 4,400 to Rs 4,200 per quintal, at the rate of Rs 42 per kg.
Moreover, cost of Rice (super) has been increased from Rs 580 per 50 kg bag to Rs 630 per 50 kg bag after the price revision today.
Similarly, price of Atta, Maida and Mustard oil have been increased after revision.
Atta used to cost Rs 820 per 45 kg bag but now it would cost Rs 950 per 45 kg bag, at the rate of Rs 21 per kg; Maida, which used to cost Rs 870 per 45 kg bag would cost now Rs 1000 per 45 kg bag, at the rate of Rs 22 per kg while Mustard which used to cost Rs 1300 per 15 kg tin would cost now Rs 1350 per tin of 15 kg.
However, there has been no change in the price of garlic and chillies.
