Leishemba Sanajaoba calls for righteous path in life

Imphal, February 18 2018: Titular king Leishemba Sanajaoba has called upon the people of the State to be self-awaken and return to the righteous path/channel adopted by forefathers, saying the society needs to do so to be a part of globalization.

He was speaking as the chief guest at the release function of an audio album titled "Nongandriba Ahingi Yakairol" at Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS), Palace Compound today.

He pointed out that many unwanted incidents and events that have been taking place in the prevailing society are the consequences of deviating from the righteous path followed by the forefathers.

He expressed concern over the indulgence in the wrongful ways of life by people in the society.

He observed that gloomy and poignant atmosphere would still prevail in the society as long as the people remain unawakened to the righteous path of life.

He asserted that time has come for everyone in the society to ask themselves why they remain unawakened/senseless and straying from the right course of life.

The function was also attended by Narengbam Samarjit Singh, chairman & managing director of SALAI Holdings Pvt.

Ltd and Yengkhom (O) Indira Devi, president, Kha-na Chaoba Wangpurel Sintha Apungba as the president and guest of honour respectively.

Rendition of Yakairol by a group of artists marked the occasion.
