Imphal, January 17 2021: Social worker, Mongjam Poireihanba has reached out to elderlies or senior citizens from across Lamlai Assembly Constitution (AC) with winter clothes as a part of his philanthropic activities today.

The outreach programme was organised at the residence of the social worker at Yourabung where elderlies were presented winter clothing with respect besides organising a feast for them.

Speaking at the occasion, Poireihanba said that the programme was organised to seek blessing from the elderlies to successfully translate his vision to transform Lamlai AC into a new and developed AC into action.

The programme was actually organised by the development committee of Yourabung and Yourabung Khunou which have been working closely for the development of the area with him, he said.

The programme was also very significant to him as he looks forward to broaden his philanthropic activities and reach out to needy people of the AC this day, he continued.
