AR hosts a "Day with Coy Commander"

Imphal, February 16 2025: Assam Rifles organised "A day with Company Commander" at Assam Rifles camp in Khuga village, Churachandpur district of Manipur on 15 February 2025 .

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of 56 children including 30 girls and 26 boys hailing from Churachandpur District.

The initiative was aimed at providing them a glimpse of life in uniform.

The day began with a welcome by the Company Commander, followed by a weapon display, where the children were introduced to Automatic Weapons, Rifles, Mortars, Rocket Launchers and equipment like night vision devices thereby providing them with the opportunity to witness and handle the equipment used by the Indian Armed Forces.

This was followed by a tour of the camp, providing them insight into the daily routine of soldiers.

The children then participated in fun filled games like relay race, tug of war, musical chair etc.

The winners of the games were awarded with prizes.

Additionally, Assam Rifles also gifted educational aids and sports equipment like volleyballs & footballs to the students, promoting physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle.

It was evident from their enthusiasm that they enjoyed the event thoroughly.

Basic medical check-up was also carried out for the attendees.

The children created memories to cherish and strengthened the warm bond with the Assart Rifles.
