Imphal, November 15 2019: The results of the State Level Essay Writing Competition on the "Pros and Cons of Citizenship Amendment Bill" held on November 10 are out.

Maibam Safiur Rahaman of DM College Arts, Imphal has stood first position, while Solemwon Zimik of Pettigrew College, Ukhrul and Haobam Krishnakumari Devi of Manipur College stood 2nd and third position respectively, said a statement of the Director of University and Higher Education.

K Thuam Biak Lian Guite of Churachandpur College, CCpur and Mohammed Irfan Gufran of Mayai Lambi College Yumnam Huidrom stood 4th and 5th position respectively while Laishram Pratima Chanu of Manipur University and Jameer Baseimayum of Mayai Lambi College shared 6th position.

Prizes distribution ceremony of the competition will be held at MSFDS, palace Compound Imphal at 10 am on Monday, November 18, said the statement.
