Jiribam, January 15 2022: Indian Red Cross Society, Manipur State Branch and Jiribam Branch on Saturday organised a one day health camp at Community Hall, Samupunbi (Gularthol) in Jiribam district.

It was attended by Indian Red Cross Society, Manipur State Branch chairman, Dr Y Mohen; Imphal Hospitals & Research Centre, Emergency Medical Consultant, Dr Kangjam Lakshmi; IRCS Life Member, Dr Bankimchandra Thokchom; and members of IRCS Jiribam Branch.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Y Mohen expressed his concern with the increasing cases of cancer and appealed to the people of Jiribam to avoid the use of tobacco.

During the camp, cancer awareness, detection of Diabetes, High Blood Pressure and Dental check up were conducted.
