KADAP seeks help

As lockdown has been extended further till May 3, Kangleipak Drug Users Awareness & Prevention (KADAP) has appealed Government and authorities concerned to provide daily essential items and drugs required for the inmates it is housing.
As lockdown has been extended, all the inmates will continue to stay at the Awakening Drugs & Alcoholic De-addiction Treatment Centre at Langthabal Meitei Lamkhai, said KADAP general secretary A Prithiviraj.
It may be noted that the centre has been housing 19 drug users picked up by Imphal West Police and KADAP from North AOC area in Imphal.
The drug users will be discharged on May 4, he said urging Government to provide food items and drugs required for the inmates.
Imphal West Police Station OC Sudhir, different CSOs, NGOs and individuals have been helping the centre run during the lockdown, he said.
