Imphal, February 14 2013:
United Revolutionary Front (URF) has derecognised the signing of Tripartite MoU with the Government of India and State government and said that they are not part of so-called' the peace process and would never be.
In a statement signed by its Secretary of Information and Publicity Ak Pibarel, URF said that the peace process of the India government is in fact a hidden agenda of genocide, and observed that sided peace process will bring no solution to the present Political Armed Conflict.
While India is hell bent on keeping Manipur under its colonial rule, revolutionary organisations and people of the state want the lost sovereignty back at any cost.
In this situation, the peace process which principles are framed by the colonial government will not bring any solution, URF stated.
The outfit alleged that the government is providing a monthly amount of Rs 4000 to the surrendered UG cadres to lure them.
They are also paid money based on the weapons they bring at the time of surrender.
Moreover, some of them are paid Rs 2.5 lakhs after two years of the surrendering, URF stated.
It is a pity for the surrendered cadres who have to spend the rest of their lives in a Nazi-concentration camp like designated camp secluded from the society.
Besides, the government is wasting the energy and resources of the youths of the state by paying just Rs 4000 a month by establishing Village Defence Force (VDF).
AFSPA and smuggling of drugs in the state are also parts of the genocide policy of the India government, URF alleged.
It further called upon the people of the state to raise their voices against the conlonial rule and come forward to regain the lost freedom of Manipur.
