84.21 pc voter turnout for Outer election

Imphal, April 13 2019:
The voter turnout for the Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency election of April 11, has reached 84.21 percent.
According to an official source, the polling parties of Churachandpur and Tamenglong district, who could not reach the respective DHQs yesterday, reached their destination early today morning.
In the election 10,10,617 voters cast their votes and 83.38 percent of male and 84.97 percent of females gave their votes.
Mao secured the spot for highest number of voter turnout at 93 percent while Churachandpur had the least voter turnout at just 53.62 percent.
The source further informed that the officials are analysing which polling stations warrant a repoll and the scrutiny for the polling stations with possible repoll will be performed at Thoubal DC tomorrow.
