Jayantakumar extends monetary help to fire victim

Health and Family Welfare Minister, Langpoklakpam Jayantakumar extended monetary help to fire victim, Salam (O) Tombi in a simple function organized by Rising Youth Club at Keishampat Leimajam Leikai today.
The incident that occurred on February 19 last completely destroyed Tombi's house.
The Minister handed over an amount of Rs 1 lakh to Tombi and a sewing machine to one of her family members.
Elders and senior citizens of the locality hailed the effort extended by the Minister.
On the occasion, the Minister urged the people of the area to immunise their children in the State-wide vaccination of Measles-Rebulla which will be held from March 25 to 26.He further stated that every effort will be made to educate the people of Keishamthong A/C on how to enroll in Chief Minister Hakshelgi Tenbang (CMHT) scheme by the end of March.
The event was graced by Soram Sunil, Corporator, Imphal Municipal Corporation, Ward No 9; Sorokhaibam Subhash, Ward Member and Heikham Shyamkanhai, president of Rising Youth Club.
