Introduction of technical knowledge for entrepreneurship in school syllabus stressed

MSME-Development Institute Imphal in association with Craft Development Promotion Organisation, Imphal East organised an industrial motivational campaign for industrial clusters at the premises of Kouna (Reed) Cluster Ningomthong Kitanapanung, Imphal East today.
The programme was attended by Zilla Parishad Member of 13 Bashikhong Imphal East Jaswonta Chirom as the chief guest, Manager, NSIC Imphal L Ibetombi as the special guest, president of Manipur Industries Development Council P Loken, general secretary, All Manipur Food Processors Association T Sanajaoba, Panchayet Member Ningomthong Kitanapanung Sanabam Ibemnoubi, retired General Manager, District Industries Centre Y Raghumani as guests of honour while Asst Director, MSME-DI, Imphal T N Singh as the president of the function.
Around 50 local youths comprising of established MSE units as well as prospective entrepreneurs took part in the motivational campaign.
Jaswanta Chirom appealed to the authorities concerned to introduce technical knowledge for entrepreneurship development in the school syllabus from the upper primary level so that the requisite technical knowledge to start an enterprise is imparted early to young minds.
