Imphal, January 13 2019: As a section of the Imphal-Dimapur highway is being re-constructed in Nagaland which has made the highway quite deplorable, fuel transportation to Manipur has been affected.

Sources informed that NRL oil pumps in the State are unable to distribute fuels regularly as fuel transportation has been affected by the torn highway.

Heavy vehicles particularly fuel tankers have been facing severe difficulties while passing through the particular section which is being re-constructed and as a result, NRL tankers are not able to reach Imphal in time.

Apart from NRL, some other oil companies are also facing difficulties in transporting fuels along Imphal-Dimapur highway, said the sources.
