Students study tour cum exposure trip flagged off

Executive member of Ukhrul ADC, Edmund Chiphang today flagged off study tour cum exposure trip of the students of Ngachonmi Primary School, Awungtang Ukhrul.
While flagging off the exposure trip at the Council complex, E Chiphang said that the exposure trip is necessary for the students to develop broader outlook in their life and to gain confidence.
He further said that Ukhrul ADC schools are nothing short of other better educational institutions based in Ukhrul and Kamjong at the primary level.
He continued that biometric attendance system was first introduced in Council schools at Ngachonmi Primary Schools in 2014 located at Awungtang locality of Ukhrul town while adding that Ngachonmi Primary School was also the champion of this year's Swachhta Essay competition organised by Ukhrul ADC on Gandhi Jayanti Day.
The ADC executive member further said that the exposure trip was conducted as part of initiating national education policy to take the students to historical places apart from class room education so that they can improve their knowledge from personal experiences.
Altogether, 35 students along with 11 teachers from Ngachonmi Primary School will visit Loktak, Keibul Lamjao, Kangla and Manipur Zoological Garden during the trip.
