Global Science Club hosts blood donation camp

Moirang, November 10 2024: A voluntary blood donation camp was organised celebrating the 38th foundation of Global Science Club at Ibudhou Yangoiningthou Community Hall, Khoijuman today.

The blood donation camp was organised jointly by the Global Science Club Khoijuman, Green Brigade Foundation, Indian Red Cross Society Bishnupur District Branch, Life Savers Manipur, Blood Centre JNIMS, Porompat under the aegis of State Blood Transfusion Council and Manipur State AIDS Control Society.

43 including 4 women volunteers donated blood at the camp.

Indian Red Cross Society Bishnupur District Branch secretary Dr H Romen, joint secretary H Shyamchand, Global Science Club secretary L Pateljit, Green Brigade Foundation founder E Premjit, Life Savers Manipur MD K Padamakumar attended the camp.

Dr RK Rajesh, Senior Resident, JNIMS, Dr Bidyananda and Dr Winika Hemam attended the camp as resource persons and spoke at an awareness programme held as part of the event.
