Sit-in demands disturbance-free education

Imphal, August 10 2024: Voicing the demand to make the education sector a disturbance free zone, the Co-Ordinating Committee on Disturbance Free Educational Zone Demand and NEET aspirants today jointly staged a sit-in protest at Yaipha Thouni Sanglen, Keishampat Leimajam Leikai.

At the sit-in, the protestors urged all concerned to refrain from all sorts of activities which may hamper the education sector.

Expressing discontentment over the frequent disturbances posed by various factors in the education sector, they appealed to all concerned to stop such activities which are against the students so as to save the future of the future pillars of the society.

They also urged all concerned to stop imposition of unbearable monetary demands on NEET Coaching Centres by various organizations including armed groups, stop harassing/ threatening teachers and to let the students study peacefully without any hindrance for the National Level competition.
