Revoke suspension of Th Babu Singh: NTEWA

Imphal, August 10 2020: The Non-Teaching Employees' Welfare Association (NTEWA) has strongly objected to the decision of the Director of RIMS, Prof A Santa Singh to suspend Th Babu Singh, secy of NTEWA and requested that the suspension by revoked without any conditions and also to complete the extension of contract employees within August 12, failing which, the association will take 2 days mass casual leave.

A statement signed by NTEWA president, Y Basanta Singh, has demanded the RIMS Director to revoke the suspension of Th Babu Singh, who was placed under suspension arbitrarily and without 'natural justice' after democratic protests launched by the association against the outsourcing of staff through GeM by RIMS.

The association has warned that if their demands ie to revoke suspension of Th Babu Singh and to complete extension of remaining contract employees services are not fulfilled within August 12, the NTEWA has decided to take 2 days mass casual leave from the next day.
