Labour Minister distributes job offer letter to ITI pass outs

Skill, Labour, Employment & Entrepreneurship Minister Heikham Dingo handed out offer letters for the post of Production Associate Trainee to 49 ITI pass out during a recruitment drive conducted by GE Healthcare, Bengaluru at ITI campus today.
Addressing the gathering, Heikham Dingo lauded the Bengaluru company for providing job placements to ITI passout trainees.
The 49 trainees will receive various benefits including EPF, ESI Health Scheme and free transportation.
"We will try to conduct such campus recruitment drives in the future as well", he said.
The event was attended by Yaiphaba Longjam, Joint Director, Directorate of Craftsmen Training and important officials of GE Healthcare, Bengaluru.
Notably, Annu Mathew, Talent Acquisition Leader.
Asia Pacific Region, GE Healthcare played a vital role in making the recruitment drive happen.
Separately, Heikham Dingo launched the official website of the Directorate of Craftsmen Training (DCT), Manipur at his New Secretariat office m Babupara today.
Responding to a query from the media regarding the fish mela set to be held tomorrow at Hapta Kangjeibung in celebration of Emoinu Eratpa Numit, Minister Heikham Dingo said that the Fishery Department will produce over 80,000 kg of fish products before the public.
120 stalls will be set up at the fish mela where not only fish products but vegetables and items made by relief camp inmates will be on display.
With dedicated efforts, the Fishery Department has been able to fulfil the demand for fish products in the State and helped in saving a significant sum of money from being spent on importing fish products from beyond Manipur, added H Dingo.
He made an appeal to the public to attend the fish mela.
