MOBEDS team assesses ongoing remedial coaching programme

Tamenglong, November 09 2024: A team from MOBEDS, Manipur paid a surprise visit to Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Tamenglong to assess the ongoing six month remedial coaching programme titled "CM's Lairik Heiminnashi Programme (CMLH)" being conducted at the school.

The team was led by Md Alam Azad, Project Officer, MOBEDS and in-charge of the remedial coaching program.

After conducting the necessary inspection, Md Alam Azad informed that the school and the concerned teachers are following all the necessary guidelines and criteria and conducting the remedial coaching programme smoothly.

He added that many students from far flung places walk to the school to attend the classes.

After classes, they walk home equipped with a torch light in their hands, he shared.

It may be noted that the remedial coaching programme sponsored by MOBEDS is being conducted across both hill and valley districts at 19 different institutions.

The coaching programme is divided into two categories, pre-matric (VIII to X) and post matric (XI and XII) wherein academic assistance is provided to students from economically weaker sections of society.
