Imphal, August 09 2019: School Education Department has uploaded the 'Regulatory Guidelines for Hostels of Educational Institutions for Children' formulated by the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) on the official website of the department www.manipureducation.gov.in/ www.ncpcr.gov.in for wide publicity and perusal by all stake holders.

A notification issued by the Education (S) Commissioner T Ranjit appealed to all school management committees/trusts/associations running hostels, academicians, student organisations, parents, teachers, students etc to furnish claims & objections, suggestions for amendments/modifications to the 'Regulatory Guidelines for Hostels/Boardings for Students' so that the department could incorporate the suggestions etc and make a guideline which is more suitable for the State.

It added that claims & objections, suggestions etc may be submitted to the Directorate of Education(S) at Lamphelpat or e-mail to kirankumar_thokchom@ yahoo.co.in or [email protected] on or before September 10 .
