Imphal, February 09 2020: The Ipak Films Production Manipur held its 13th Annual Conference along with presentation of Ipak Films Lifetime Achievement Award, 2020 and Ipak Achievers Award, 2020 at Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS) today.

A Manipuri feature film titled 'Bangladesh ki Sana Tampha' produced by Ipak Films was screened at the event.

The director of the feature film, OC Meira said the film which portrays the lifestyle of the Meiteis in Bangladesh was made to remind Meiteis everywhere that they still exist.

He also spoke about the hardships faced by the team in making the film, like passport and visa due to which some artistes could not accompany the team, carrying of equipments from one country to another, etc.

All the efforts that went in producing the film would be assumed fruitful if it can help unification of Meiteis settled in different parts of the globe including Bangladesh, he added.

The function was attended by L Shantibala, wife of Health and Family Welfare, Art and Culture Minister L Jayantakumar, Ipak Films Production Advisor Dr S Manaoton, IPS Founder Principal Ashem Kenedy Singh, Heinoukhongnembi UPS headmistress & State Teacher Awardee Sobita Soubam, former headmistress & National Fellowship awardee Nirmala Rajkumari as chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.
