RK Imo extends aid to hailstorm victims

Imphal, May 08 2024: Acknowledging the urgent need for assistance while awaiting government relief packages, Sagolband AC MLA RK Imo Singh has spearheaded a comprehensive relief effort to aid families affected by the recent hailstorms across the State.

According to a statement issued by PRO of the MLA, RK Imo Singh through the Sagolband ' Constituency Progressive Committee (SCPC) and BJP Sagolband Mandal, on Wednesday distributed CGI sheets to nearly 50 households in Ward No 8 & 24 .

With an aim to enable the affected individuals to commence repairing their houses to a certain extent while awaiting official Government relief packages, the MLA has provided CGI sheets to more than 350 households in .

The residents of Sagolband have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the MLA for his unwavering support during this challenging time.

"These initiatives exemplify the spirit of unity and compassion within our community, as we stand together to overcome adversity and rebuild stronger than before", said the statement.
