Police will nab Pallel attacker(s): Gaikhangam

Home Minister Gaikhangam told some reporters on Wednesday that police are leaving no stone unturned to arrest the gunmen who had opened indiscriminate firings on the Lai Haraoba devotees on Tuesday night at Pallel.
It may be recalled that one devotee was killed, four others wounded; another policeman was also injured in stone pelting by the inflamed devotees.
Speaking to the reporters at the sidelines of a function at Sagolband Mabudhou Mantri Leikai Gangmei said that it was deplorable that the incident took place.
The culprits will be arrested shortly.
It will be better if the culprits surrender.
Additional security personnel have been rushed there to ensure that there is no further untoward incident.
An inquiry will also be ordered.
He was told that there is a feud between two groups of youths and it was likely that stray bullets had hit the devotees during shooting among the youths.
However the government shall come down heavily on the criminals.
The JAC representatives had met with the Chief Minister to talk about the incident.
He said that he condemned the shooting of the devotees in this manner.
In reply to a question on the encroachment of some parts of Dzukou valley by Nagaland he said that since it is an inter state issue involvement of the centre is needed.
However the Manipur government will pay special attention to protect Manipur Dzukou valley.
