Siver Jubilee of "Eikhoigi Panthung" celebrated

Imphal, November 05 2024: The Silver Jubilee of the monthly journal "Eikhoigi Panthung" was celebrated today at its office located in Keishamthong Laishom Leirak Machin, Imphal.

Speaking at the occasion, Nongthombam Rupchandra, president of United People's Front (UPF) said that the monthly journal has now become fruitful as it has many customers as compared to its first existence in the year 2000, when there were many hurdles to make it functional.

He further stated that the aim and objectives of the journal which is published under the guidance and sponsorship of UPF is nothing but to boost the morale of the younger generation as the future of the society solely depends upon their activities.

President of UCM YK Dhiren, founder president of UPF Khomdram Ratan, former president of UPF Soraisham Ratankumar and other prominent journalists were also present at the function.
