Loktak Khorjei Lup, Thanga invites entries for literary awards

Imphal, October 05 2020: The Loktak Khorjei Lup, Thanga has invited submission of books/works for two literary awards.

The annual award "Loktak Lairembi Khorirol Mana, 2020" is donated by Mutum Ramani of Keishampat Thokchom Leikai and the winner will receive a cash award of Rs 10,000 along with a citation and lengyan.

Entries for this award should be poetry works/books published between 2016-2019 .

The second award "Ningthoujam Ningthemjao Ningshing Mana (translation), 2020" is given out every 3 years for best translation work.

The award is donated by family members of late Ningthoujam Ningthemjao of Moirang Khunou, who was a Hindi teacher in Thanga High School.

The award includes a cash prize of Rs 10,000 along with a citation and lengyan.

Entries for this award should be translation works published between 2016 to 2019 .

Preference will be given to translation works from other Indian languages to Manipuri.

Applicants can submit their works to Thoibi Medical Store in Moirang Lamkhai on or before October 20 or call 8731083908/7005583701 .
