Action demanded against school Principal in 'fake appointment' scandal

All Manipur Government Higher Secondary Lecturers' Association (AMGHSLA) has demanded the State Government to take stringent action against one school Principal named Md Nizamuddin on fraud charges.
Strict action should be taken against Khoupum Higher Secondary School Principal Md Nizamuddin over his alleged fake appointment as per the established law within the current month, AMGHSLA secretary M Joykumar said at a press meet at Johnstone Higher Secondary School, Imphal on Sunday.
He said the name of Md Nizamuddin was not found in the lecturers' regularization list of 1986.Later in 1988, the Government issued the appointment order in which his name was not found listed, Joykumar claimed.
Md Nizamuddin's name was found nowhere in another list issued in 2001, he insisted, but said the so called Principal's name was found in the 2005 list in a fake appointment.
Joykumar maintained that the date of birth of Md Nizamuddin is May 5, 1965 and he was appointed as a regular lecturer in 1988.He had never appeared in the related examination conducted by Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC), the association secretary said.
The association had in 2008 and 2014 requested the Government to investigate the matter, but nothing has been done so far in this connection, Joykumar said.
He demanded the Government to take strict action against Md Nizamudin in the cheating scandal within the current month.
Joykumar threatened that the association will seek legal help if the Government fails to take action against the 'self-styled' Principal.
Lecturers S Inaobi, E Nabakumar, Usham Kunjo and M Jadumani were also present during the press meet.
