Kakching, September 04 2024: District Mission Management Unit (DMMU) Kakching district organised a district level orientation programme on "Universalization of PRI-CBO Convergence" at NIC conference hall, DC Kakching today.

Notably, the PRI-CBO Convergence project builds capacities of PRI and SHG network to work together to strengthen the poor's access to entitlements and enhance the public's participation in local governance for improved service delivery.

The orientation programme was conducted under the aegis of Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM) and the RD&PR Department.

Kakching Deputy Commissioner Rohit Anand and M Kapajit, ADM Kakching attended the programme as presidium members.

Meanwhile, Nikita Thangjam, District Social Welfare Officer and Y Achouba, ZEO, Kakching, DLOs and MSRLM staff also graced the orientation programme.

MSRLM representatives delivered a PowerPoint presentation highlighting their initiatives undertaken for the benefit of the people of the district.
